All German car enthusiasts are invited to show their rides at GCCK's 3rd annual German car show on Saturday, September 25, 2010. Salina's Thomas Park will once again welcome entrants who bring any sort of vehicle which is mainly of German origin, as we have 16 classes for everything from Audi to VW, including buggies & bikes, tractors & trikes, plus "Best Of" awards for show, engine, interior, paint, campsite, as well as, "Least-likely-to-win-best-of-show". We will hand out many more awards this year, as entrants' votes will decide three winners in each of the 16 classes. But we're also cutting the entry fee to just $10 for your first vehicle and $5 for each additional one you bring! Now we can't offer lunch with that super deal, but there will be plenty of reasonably-priced food and drink available on-site. As in the past two years, there will be free camping Friday and Saturday nights, live music throughout the day, kids' activities, vendors, a silent auction, and, rumor has it, the likely return of our very own St. Pauli Girls! So just show up by noon at Thomas Park, 1 km. south of I-70 Exit 252 on 9th St. in Salina! Call 785-577-5033 for more info. NOTE: Registration is on the day of the show only, there is no pre-registration. Click here for map and directions to the show!
